RECRUITMENT OF MERITORIOUS SPORTSPERSONS IN THE OFFICE
OF THE PRINCIPAL CHIEF COMMISSIONER OF INCOME-TAX,
NORTH WEST REGION
The Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, North West Region, invites
applications for recruitment of meritorious sportspersons in different
games/sports as mentioned below.
Notification
Eligibility:
Income Tax Inspector - Bachelor's Degree
Tax Assistant - Bachelor's Degree
Multi-Tasking Staff - 10+2
SPORTS ELIGIBILITY-
Proficiency will be evaluated with reference to the following criteria in descending
order of preference:-
Sportspersons having represented
(i) A state or the country in a National or International Competition in any of
Sport Quota Recruitment-NWR

the games/sports as mentioned in Para 3; or
(ii) Their University in the Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the
Inter-University Sports Board in any of the games/sports as mentioned in Para
3; or
(iii) The State Schools Team in the National Sports/Games for Schools
conducted by All India School Federation in any of the games/sports as
mentioned in Para 3; or
(iv) Sportspersons who has been awarded National Awards in Physical
efficiency under National Physical Efficiency Drive.
Note:
The best three performances in the calendar years 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019 &
2018 (after 01.01.2018) will be considered for evaluation.
Tax Assistant - Bachelor's Degree
Multi-Tasking Staff - 10+2

scribed with the words “Application for Recruitment in Sports Quota for the Post of
Inspector/Tax Assistant/Multi-Tasking Staff” only through Registered/Speed Post on or
before 17.03.2023 (31.03.2023 for candidates domiciled in North Eastern States, Andaman
Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir).
